The Château Frontenac rising above the rooftops of Old Québec.
Distance
About 255 km along Autoroute 20.
Estimated duration
About three hours of driving each way, not counting stops and depending on traffic.

Old Québec

The Château Frontenac, the Dufferin Terrace, Place Royale and the Petit-Champlain quarter. It is all walkable once you are there — we drop you as close as possible and pick you up wherever you like.

Stops along the way

Montmorency Falls, higher than Niagara, sits just before you arrive. Île d’Orléans can be toured in a loop. Tell us what appeals and we build it into the itinerary.

One day or two

In a single day, six hours of driving there and back leaves enough time for the essentials and no more. With a night on site the day becomes comfortable, and the driver stays available the next morning.

Before you set off

  • In winter, Autoroute 20 can close or slow down in bad weather. We warn you and postpone rather than take a risk.
  • Parking in Old Québec is limited, so drop-offs and pickups are agreed in advance.
